Band ‘A’ levels of efficiency
Alpha’s condensing boiler range sits uppermost within Band ‘A’ of the SEDBUK classification system for energy efficiency. Not only reliable but efficient as well.

Our unique flueing system allows a horizontal flue run of up to 12 metres and a vertical run of up to 15 metres. Push-fit connections for inner ducts allow simple installation and Alpha’s Telescopic CD EASY FLUE System provides specifiers and installers with the flexibility to fit the boiler where they want.

Again helping to save our environment, Alpha Condensing boilers emit very low levels of NOX, well below UK standards.

The Alpha CD50 wall-hung high efficiency storage combi matches a traditional system's higher flow rate whilst also offering the benefit of hot water on demand whenever you want it. Its compact 'all-in-one' design gives you the best of both worlds.

When the hot tap is turned off, the CD50's powerful heat exchanger fully recharges the store in about 3 minutes. This quick recovery is achieved by using a double-wound stainless steel coil to provide a bigger than usual heating surface area. The size of the coil is also designed to maintain continuous hot water delivery at a usable temperature faster than it can be drawn off.

No separate tanks or cylinders means a 'dry loft' and more room for living. The mains-fed Alpha CD50 does not need a storage tank in the roof, saving on pipework and loft space. Also, with no need for a separate cylinder for hot water, the CD50 frees up space for living so the cylinder cupboard could, for example, provide room for a shower.

Wall-hung – saves valuable floor space. Even in larger homes floor space is at a premium. That's why the Alpha CD50 is designed to hang on the wall.

The Alpha CD50 high efficiency storage combi is designed to satisfy demanding hot water and heating requirements whilst reducing energy consumption. When the store is fully charged an equivalent domestic hot water output of 32kW gives a flow rate of up to 18 litres per minute at approx. 55°C-60°C, enough to fill an average bath in about 3 to 4 minutes.

Automatic flow regulator means hot water never runs out.
After filling a bath, if there is still a demand for hot water, the CD50's automatic flow regulator controls the flow to keep the water hot.

The Alpha CD50 will therefore always provide hot water no matter how long the hot tap is left open, unlike some other storage combis.
