Power
Flushing
CLEARFLOW Power flushing.

If your heating system is showing signs of old age with any of the following symptoms:

System takes a long time to heat up. Some radiators completely or partially cold. Radiators need frequent bleeding. Strange and unpleasant noises from the boiler. Repeated pump failures.
- then it is likely that your system has circulation and flow problems which can be solved with the
CLEARFLOW
Power flushing pump.

More..........
Cures flow and circulation problems. Restores system efficiency. Restores heat output to radiators. Cleans the whole system, including underfloor piping. Removes aggressive water & treatment prevents further corrosion. Cures or prevents boiler noise. Power flushing and descaling done in only one visit. Complete process carried out in 4 - 7 hours. ( depending on system size ) Minimises boiler warranty problems.

The CLEARFLOW power flushing pump is connected into the heating system, either across standard circulator pump couplings, across the tails of one radiator, or wherever most practicable. Then we add sludge removing chemicals & connect the powerful MagnaClean' Dual Powerflushing magnetic filter. The powerful flow, combined with instantaneous flow reverser device, will dislodge and mobilise sludge, deposits and corrosion which resist traditional system cleaning methods. Using our 'VibraClean' radiator agitator, we will then proceed to work on each radiator individually and in turn. This sends a vibrating pulse through the radiator dislodging all the sediment laying on the bottom of the radiator panel.

Once the corrosion and sludge deposits have been loosened and mobilised, they will be collected in the magnetic filter. Fresh clean water is then forced through the heating system, pushing the contaminated water out through a full bore dump valve to waste. During the CLEARFLOW process, radiators are individually flushed, without removing or disconnecting them from the system, by directing the full output of the Kamco pump through each radiator separately.

At the end of the flushing process, the system contains clean water to which we then add an inhibitor. This is to help prevent any further corrosion and any build up of sludge. After which the reinstatement of the system to normal operation takes only a few minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a Powerflush cause leaks?
Only if a fault already exists such as a corroded valve or radiator.

How long does it take?
Depending on your location, we normally arrive at your home between 8am and 8.30am
- unless otherwise agreed. The complete process is normally completed in 4 to 7 hours,
depending on the size of your heating system.

Which Powerflush tools do we use?
A 'Kamco' CF30 DDV: CLASSIC - POWER FLUSHING KIT
A 'MagnaClean' Dual Professional Powerflushing filter
A 'VibraClean' precision-made radiator agitator
& Using the most appropriate chemicals.

With the following exception only:
Occasionally, during the course of doing your powerflush, we might find that something
needs fixing. For example, a radiator valve might need replacing or perhaps
the pump sounds 'sluggish'. ( worn )

We will advise you if the work is urgent or not and will tell you how much it would cost -
should you asked us to do it.

Important !
If we cannot absolutely guarantee to solve every problem you describe
with a powerflush - we will tell you.
